Deer, Friends, Bikes, Booms and a Nest!

This is one of the strangest mixes of photos I have ever put up. I will probably need to set up each photo!

Early one morning I had to take M for a blood draw.  While we backed out of our driveway we looked across the street and saw these three beauties just waking up on our neighbor's lawn.  We have so many deer in our community.

The view from our house!

Zoomed in.

M has spent so much time with our neighbor and friend S this Spring/Summer.  You will see her featured quite a bit in many upcoming blog posts.  She is such a great girl and she and M get along so well together.

They both know how to pump!  Easy for moms!

M's missionary buddy Kevin was in town for the day.  He popped over long enough to watch M bike and take this photo!

Buddies!
M was in the perfect spot at the perfect time and was allowed to jam on the drums with one of the drummers from our church.  Rob is a dad of four and was an excellent teacher.  M was in heaven!

M: Let's Rock!

We are SO BLESSED to receive lots and lots of amazing clothes second hand for both of our children.  I have tears in my eyes as I type this because I am not sure if the blessers have any idea how HUGE this is for our family.  It is such an incredible gift.  The joy the kids have when they receive a box of hand me downs is priceless.  T is so excited that she is literally squealing and bouncing off the walls.  We decided to take a bunch of photos of her discovering the treasures!

T: Do you like my new shirt, skirt, belt, and PJ bottoms?

T: Look at this great dress for Church!

T: And this jacket, it is so lovely!

T: The SHOES!!  I love them!!!!

One morning on a walk with Charissa and her crew we were again at the right place at the right time. Someone stopped us while we walked and asked us if we wanted the bike below.  It is the perfect tiny bike for T and she is pedaling well and feels very grown up when she uses it.

T: Look mom, I am pedaling!

Two bikers!!
One evening while I was making dinner the kids and Brandon went across the street to say hello to some neighbors.  They were so excited when this truck pulled up and raised its boom.  They watched and watched.

M: This is better than a park, right T?  T: Yes, do you think we can go up in the boom?

M: I mean really, who wouldn't stop everything and stare, ask questions, and beg for a ride in this thing?

Finishing this post with another really random shot.  Another day, another "nest" for our T.  She makes many nests for her and her babies every single day!  It is so sweet to watch her get everything perfect!

T: Let's cuddle and read!
