The Work Room Scrub Sink Demo

We have been living in the parsonage for over 6.5 years.  We love living here.  There are countless advantages to our location and home.  We feel so thankful.  Shortly after moving in we spent many many hours on the main floors of our home.  The following year we spent a bit of time on the kids rooms upstairs.  Before T came home we painted and carpeted the basement.  We pretty much made every room in the house feel like home... every room except the work room.  We stored stuff in it and used it as a work room, but it wasn't until this winter than we actually got things the way we want them.  It feels so refreshing to have that room is order as well.  One of the hardest parts of the room was figuring out what to do with the huge and heavy scrub sink.  There are water valves above this sink, but there is no drain.  We have never used this sink.  We have a smaller sink with our laundry upstairs.  The sink structure really prevented us from using the room in an organized way.  After lots of internet research Brandon discovered that the best option was to demo it in the basement and then remove it piece by piece.  Thankfully we had a friend with dumpster space!
Before!
The start of demo
More demo
A huge area for storage!

T: I had so much fun on the swing while Mommy and Daddy organized!
The after.  All of this fit where just the sink was before!

A wide open space.  I wish we would have taken more "Before" shots, but this is big improvement!
