Two Grands. Two Kids. Zero Parents!

Oh what a gift!!!  Summer vacation was LONG friends!  We were all weary by the end of August.  Brandon and I knew that adventure was around the corner, but the kids sure didn't.  We surprised them with a tip to visit Grandpa Tom and Grandma Judy... without us!  I drove the kids half way and met up with Tom and Judy.  We then met at the same place five days later for pick up!  Yep, you read that correctly.  FIVE DAYS!  Of course two of the days were travel days, but we all had enough time to make great memories.  Brandon and I had a great stay-cation at our house.  We pretended to be tourists and wandered around downtown.  We slept in.  Brandon biked a lot.  I sorted clothes and toys and pitched things without the kids knowing. We ate spicy food!  We had good talks.  We watched funny movies!  We just enjoyed time together.  What didn't we do?  Apparently, we didn't take a single photo.  Well, just imagine our fresh faces having fun.

The kids had a BLAST with their grandparents.  They had many fun things to do and got to see a lot of extended family too.  They even had a sleepover with the cousins.  Judy and Tom wrote great entires detailing the events of their time with the kids.  It was precious to read about their adventures. We got pictures from several sources.  I am not even going to try to get them all in the correct order.
