Fall Work Day/ New Fence

We had our annual fall work day in late October.  I was so excited when a crew came to our yard and tackled the area near our patio.  We also made the plans for our new fence.  With M wanting to use the patio for more sports stuff, (we have a Basketball hoop on it) we are left with very little room for eating, sitting, grilling etc.  We decided that we needed to add on to the patio a bit.  We knew this would put our patio even closer to our neighbors house and since we thought they might not like to feel like they are eating with us, we knew we needed to put up a fence. The fence does not run on the whole property line so we can still see and chat with our wonderful neighbors and their sweet dogs.  We were hoping that the fence would go all the way to the ground so they could just connect the existing fence to it, but our property is so hilly that it didn't exactly work. Perhaps some modifications and possibly a tiny fence like thing at the bottom will need to happen in the spring.

T is always eager to jump in and help with the crew.  Her clothing choices are not always super practical for yard work, but that doesn't stop her!

T: Ready to garden (Yes, she is wearing tights and a tank top)
T:  I was the stick dragger.
T: I loved helping my buddy S do some chopping.
T: Thanks for the leaf pile Mom!
T: They tried to get into my shoes.
T: Yep guys, that looks like a good spot.
T: I was just there to encourage!

The beautiful finished product.
