Christmas Program Practice

This year our church did something we have not done in over a decade... we put on a Christmas program.  In the past we have had the kids sing as part of a service, but we have never done an actual program with scripts and costumes and blocking and... practices!  

The kids practiced at the end of each Sunday School class and on Wednesday nights before iGnite and a couple of Saturdays.  We learned some valuable lessons.  Next year we will do more Saturday rehearsals and less evening ones.  The evening ones were brutal for concentration and morale.  We also had to help the kids eat before iGnite which was quite stressful.

We had the final dress rehearsal on December 23rd.  The kids had come a long way and were excited for their performance the next day!
