Now that we have moved past Christmas card season I can post our professional photos from 2017. This year we had extended family pictures taken in July and family pictures taken in October. The July photo shoot is a bit of a story. I know I blogged about it in THIS post about our 4th of July road trip, but I will refresh your memory. Last spring Judy found some great dresses for the girls at a craft show. She said that she thought big A might like to wear his martial arts uniform and that maybe M would want to wear something special that he is interested in. Brandon and I started joking that we wanted to wear something that we were interested in as well. Pretty soon everyone was on board and we did the silliest planned family picture ever. Our family photo tells a story of our joys and our passions. Our family featured a cyclist, a T-shirt wearing walking mom, a sporty singer son, and a fairy princess daughter! Yes M totally dressed himself! He was having a hard day and we just went with it!
