Funday Sunday

Fall Sundays seem to include lots of screen time.  We watch church in the morning and then we watch football in the afternoon.  Back on October 25th it was raining so outside play wasn't an option.  Morale was low.  I decided we needed to go on a little adventure.  We searched around our house for books we were ready to share and we hit up a "little library" or two.  Little libraries are located all around our town and are a great way to exchange books without going to a library. We were so excited with the book exchanges we made.  T really scored something unique!  There was a take and make paper craft and she and spent a long time on it with help from Brandon.  M was happily reading his new book and I was free to make dinner and fold clothes without chaos!

T: This thing has a lot of steps!

T: I see you!

T: It took a lot of focus.

T: Finished!

T: I am so glad that Daddy helped me.
That evening I was called into the family room to take this picture, because even at ages 8.5 and 11 Brandon can still give them a crazy ride at the same time.

M and T:  We will never outgrow this.
The night ended with some Uno. T is just resting in this position.
Family games with a little T flare!
