Church Christmas Program

This year Charissa and I directed the church Christmas Program. We usually have a bigger team helping, but for various reasons, we did alone.  Thankfully, we take the month of December off of iGnite and we are a longish Christmas break from Sunday School so somehow everything was able to get done.  Let me tell you, managing the costumes for 40 children is no joke!  I had no idea what a big job that was! On the big day everything came together beautifully.  Our Joseph had a health scare the night before the show so we had two different students play it in the two shows.  We anticipated this could happen, but it still made things a little more interesting the day of the show.  T's therapist and principal both came to watch her perform.  Both kids did very well with their speaking and singing.  It was such a fun morning!  It felt so special to be doing something special with our church family.  It was a little odd doing all of this as Omicron number were escalating, but the show went on.

T: I love this crew!

Singing!

Speaking!

M had a bigger role as the lead shepherd.  Some of the sheep were pretty busy.

The sheep clearly stole the show.  My friend S ended up being a mama sheep to help control the chaos!
