Each year the 3rd graders at Lincoln work hard on reading chapter books and doing special projects for each of them. If they get all four projects completed they get to be a part of the book parade. The kids make sandwich board things about their book and march around the cafeteria. It was a new experience for me, but by the end I loved it! I am proud of all these third graders and their hard work!

The I Survived books are some of our favorites. I learn things when I read (or listen on car trips). Such a fascinating way to learn history. M loves history so they are especially great for him.
