As I mentioned in the previous post, we came home from our Thanksgiving travels on Saturday rather than Sunday this year. We were all eager to see the cats and a bit nervous to be away from them. Because we had a bonus day at home we decided to check out a new church in a different community and then set up the Christmas trees with the children. We typically do all the decorating besides ornaments while the kids are at school and then they help with the ornaments on Monday night. It was fun to have them be a part of setting up the tree, though their attention spans are quite short. Brandon and I still did a large amount of decorating on Monday.
After the trees were decorated and baths were had we had a movie night with a pizza break in the middle. It was a great way to end Thanksgiving break.

The cats LOVED the Christmas trees! Yes, they did get into some trouble with them, but overall they just loved to sleep on the soft tree skirt! Their presence was a great present for us and without a doubt they were the best gifts of 2018!
