Social Distancing Playdates (Week 7)

Our dear neighbor friend S and her brother T spend a lot of time playing outside.  After the kids and I did a bike ride they biked over to chat with S.  All of the children understand the need to keep distances and they did a great job giving each other plenty of space.

M and T:  We wish we could go in the hammock but we are staying away.

Over the weekend the weather was so nice and warm.  The kids had socially distanced playdate.  It was short because too much time together would have made distancing too hard to maintain. They had a parent watching all the time.  They were listening to kids pop and doing some dance and some yoga together.  They really wanted play inside and do the things they used to, but they were happy to be together and embraced their new normal better than I thought they might have.

You can see our church and red house in the background giving you an idea of how close our houses are to each other.

T: Just a little yoga with friends.

T: My hands are on the ground and my legs are in the air!
