A Reunion, A Sleeping Beauty, and Magnatiles

This is one of those posts where there are many little posts in one post because trying to get caught up requires some bunching together.

After a crazy week of lots of time at church, Labor Day weekend arrived.  We set up a temporary nursery location and got the main areas of the church ready for Sunday. Thankfully Sunday School classes don't start until the week after Labor Day!

I was able to do many of the children's messages this summer and this marked my last one.  It is a fun photo because there are several dad's up there with their kiddos.  I am so thankful for our church family.

Beautiful families!

The day was also special because we received a call earlier in the week from G's parents asking if they could come to church and spend some time with us on Sunday.  We told them it would be crazy and busy.  I had a nursery training after church, but we were able to go out to eat after the training.  It was SO special to see G and his parents again.  It is amazing how much has changed and how much has not.  It is such a blessing to hear about their family and to talk with G as he grows!

Sweet G isn't so little anymore!

In other totally random news...

Sometimes you look down from your bed and discover a sleeping princess!

She still loves Magnatiles!  Through the years I am sure I will scale the toys down more and more, but I will never get rid of the magnatiles.  They are great for all ages, they clean up easily, they are portable, and hours of fun!

T: Do you like my apartment building?
