Our church is in such an exciting season! After praying for and planning for and interviewing youth pastors, the church finally voted and hired a new pastor. We are so thankful for Pastor M and for his wife K. God answered many prayers in leading them to our church. We are excited for the ministry year to be here and that eventually the renovated youth area will be finished.
This spring there was a youth group welcome party for M and K. We decided to take a pic of all the kids at the party. It will be fun to look back on this pic in several years to see how everyone has grown.

Once M and K were settled in we had them over for fajitas! Our M (who's middle name also happens to start with a J) is a huge fan of Pastor M. They are a lot alike and both love sports and music. We know that Pastor M will play a very special role in M's life as we can already see this happening.
