Brandon taught the kids Chess this spring. They caught on super quickly and really understand it quite well. They tried to teach me, but there are so many rules it is hard to multitask and play and I don't really like games that take a lot of concentration or time. I am proud of them for playing and enjoying this game. Someone who understands chess could comment more accurately about the photos below... so I will just leave them blank so I don't embarrass myself. I will say, it is a fun feeling to have your 7 year old be the teacher. I loved having her teach me a skill, even if my retention is small.
