December Progress

December was a huge month of progress at the church.  The renovations neared completion and the brick was put on the exterior of the church.  Brandon has so many pics of this, and this is a very small sampling of random pics.

The external heater in the first pic was VERY loud.  We tolerated it and prayed for our neighbors who also had to try to tolerate it.  The big plastic area was the enclosure around the brick due to cold temps.

Starting the brick!

Completed brink!

They exposed the brink in our backyard and the exterior furnace left!

Brandon and a team worked to pull cables to save costs.
The brick is completed!
For many months Fellowship Hall was blocked off with plastic.  One Saturday morning I came over to church and saw carpet being installed and the plastic rolled up and I stood with a dropped jaw and took a pic immediately.  There was obviously still some finish work remaining, but I could imagine what would be and was overwhelmed with thankfulness and joy and awe!

What a view!!!!

We miss seeing the inside of this lovely building.  We are not sure when we will get to see it again.  We are thankful that the Church is really the people and that eventually we will get to be back in this very special place.
