Halloween Snow

On Halloween day it really snowed.  I think we ended up with 5-6 inches of snow and then got more snow a couple days later as well.  Many communities canceled trick or treating and of course I thought back to the Halloween Blizzard of 1991!  I decided to start reading the kids "The Long Winter" worried about what was to come.  Interestingly, the winter was quite mild after the rough start.  We didn't have any days off school due to weather and it wasn't until the isolation started this week that I picked up The Long Winter again!

So lovely

I just couldn't believe it was sticking!

Snow on the ground and leaves on the trees!
