M's team

T isn't the only one in the family to have a "team" from CCS.  T's team is currently larger, but M gets just as many hours of fun as she does.  I didn't think to take pics of M with his team members, but I do have a couple of pics that represent what he does with his team.

Each Saturday M has Equine Therapy.  He loves working with Bunny (the horse) and Heidi.  They are both thoughtful and kind.
M: Bunny is a great horse.

M also has a mentor named Peter.  M works with Peter twice a week for a total for 4 hours a week.  M goes to Culver's with Peter and sometimes goes bowling.  Many times they go to Peter's house and work in Peter's workshop.  Peter is a retired shop teacher and has a fascinating workshop at his house.  The kids and I got to tour it before M started.  Peter has a passion for trauma kiddos after working for 20 years with very hard place kiddos at a juvenile detention center.  He "gets" M and is such a great team member.  M has made some really cool things while working with Peter.  One of the coolest things he made is a handle for a pizza cutter for Brandon.  He is very proud of it.
One intense pizza cutter!
