Our sweet T has been waiting FOREVER to be 40 pounds so she could be in a booster seat. I told her I hoped it would happen as she turned 8 and that she had to weigh 40 pounds for 3 straight days before we would take out the 5 point harness. Well, she was able to sustain the 40 pounds and we celebrated one morning before school with putting her booster in the van. We know this is a milestone many reach at age 4, but it is no less special at age 8. She looks much older in this seat and has a better ability to reach things that drop which I am thankful for.
